Hope Supply Co. Spring Break Cowboy Camp

COWBOY CAMP PROVIDES SPRING BREAK DESTINATION FOR DFW HOMELESS AND AT-RISK CHILDREN

Texas-themed camp funded by Hope Supply Co. offers enriching experiences for local homeless and at-risk children

Our Cowboy Camp is a spring break camp for 70 homeless and at-risk kids in North Texas. This group of children, who currently live in shelters and transitional housing, will experience a week of Texas history activities including hiking, zip lines, challenge courses, cowboy storytelling, hay rides and art. The camp takes place Monday, March 12 through Wednesday, March 14, 2018 at the Mt. Lebanon Camp (701 Texas Plume Rd., Cedar Hill, Texas 75104).

Cowboy Camp was established in 2006 to provide North Texas homeless and at-risk children a fun and educational experience over spring break – an opportunity they may not get otherwise. The camp gives children an opportunity to create new friendships, gain new skills, develop a sense of belonging and accomplishment and grow their self-confidence.
