Harvest the HopeFeeling wet and dirty Mom isn't coming to the rescue Why? Because she is sad again Is she sad because she can't take care of me? Dear Friends, Hope is expectation, and there is no medicine so strong as the belief that tomorrow will bring something better. We can change things for this child, and thousands in similar situations. Indeed, we are in the business of supplying Hope. For most of us, fall is a wonderful time of thanksgiving. Let's share our abundant harvest. Please Harvest the Hope with us. With gratitude, Barbara Johnson President, Hope Supply Co. |
2017 has been an exciting year for Hope Supply Co.! Here is a look back at a few of the impacts we have made on homeless infants and children:
January: We rang in 2017 with the addition of three partner agencies: DCAC, Dallas CASA and KIPP Destiny - Bringing our total to 60 partner agencies served.
We added a new distribution center at Owenwood Missional Campus.
Spring Break: 120 homeless youth enrolled in Dallas public schools attended our Cowboy Camp.
Summer: Around 1,000 children and families from our partner agencies attended Splash for Hope.
Tools for School: We supplied 2,000 backpacks filled with supplies to school-age children. Plus, volunteers had a blast stuffing backpacks in the warehouse!
Hurricane Harvey relief: We distributed over $400,000 in baby supplies, socks, underwear, hygiene items, and diapers for children affected by Harvey.
Through October 31st, we have distributed 1,782,674 diapers and training pants to partner agencies.
This November, we will distribute 340 frozen turkeys as well as toys to partner agencies during Turkeys and Toys
We will wrap up the year with the Holiday Hope Toy Drive and Holiday Hope on Wheels event. Our goal is to distribute 10,000 new toys to homeless children this holiday season.
We hope you will join us in making 2017 the best year ever for the kids we serve. Together, we are truly Harvesting Hope.
